Karen Walton opened her kitchen in October of 2009. Karen started out making cheesecakes for fundraisers for Heart to Heart Child Advocacy Center. She would make 25 plain cheesecakes and sell out at the TASTE OF NEWTON. Later she expanded her cheesecake flavors to Reece's Peanut Butter, pumpkin and more. In 2004 she decided to open her own catering business. She would go door to door to the local businesses and let them sample a variety of her appetizers, new desserts and much more. Many people suggested that she open her own restaurant so they would have a place to go and enjoy a home cooked meal.
Karen enjoys making new recipes and many delight in sampling them, from Pina Colada Cheesecake to Chicken Enchilada Soup.
Newton has many wonderful cooks, so if any of you would like to share a recipe just come on in. Karen is always interested in new or old recipes to try out.
